We still hope? by Yaniv Knobel
Many students of our class are Hapoel Be’er Sheva F.C.’s fans. To our great disappointment, Hapoel hasn’t made us happy lately. Israel Baruch, the head coach,
was close to return Hapoel Be’er Sheva to the Israel Premier League after 3 unsuccessful seasons.
The 2006-2007 season started well for Hapoel. But several players were accused of match fixing. Hapoel’s season went downhill after the event. Before the last match Hapoel is in the fourth place. Now players are preparing for another season in the Israeli Second Division.
We, fans, hope that Hapoel will soon return to the Israeli Premier League.
Thank you, Yaniv, for such a good news! I am not a fan of Hapoel Be’er Sheva FC but now I know somthing about the team. All in all, it is a good start! I’d like to add the fans’ site
I am a fresh fry at Makif Gimel Junior High School. I knew nothing of its sport history. I surfed on the Internet to find any information on the subject.
Guys, your school is famous for its achievements in sports. Your basketball results deserve consideration! In the recent finals our boys’ basketball team again has won the championship of the Southern Region! You should be proud of it!
Come on Yaniv! Get over it. Hapoel Be’er Sheva is one of the worst teams in Israel. I as a Hapoel fan, want to see my team winning as much as you are, but I lost hope long time ago, when it lost the game against Hapoel Ashkelon. If the team win the championship, I will return my words back.
